  Social Accountability & Labor Conditions policy
 
 
Employees are allowed to form & join worker committees to redress any grievances. The factory has a grievance handling mechanism for employees.
 
 
Providing equal wages - no discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, sex, region, religion and political affiliation.
 
 
Voluntary employment - under no circumstances any form of forced / bonded / prison labor shall be employed in the company.
 
Working hours, wages (including overtime) & other benefits to workers are as per government laws which are adhered to at regular intervals.
 
 
Prohibition on unacceptable form of discipline such as physical or verbal abuse, fines, illegal deductions & dismissals.
 
 
We make sure that no child / young worker is employed in our operations by validating age while recruitment.
   
 
   
 
 
Adherence to health, safety & environment regulations & special emphasis on the health and safety of the employees:
   
 
Clean & safe working conditions / environment
Periodic medical checkup
Safe & clean drinking water
Proper lighting & ventilation is provided in the factory
Adequate clean & hygienic toilets equipped with soap / towel / flushing / washing water
All chemicals of hazardous nature are stored separately with clear instructions for safe handling & use.
Factory ensures that all requirements of National &
Textiles Limited laws are met
The factory committed for continual improvement on all
the clauses under Social Accountability standard
Training on safe operation of machines & tools, proper
use of PPE's (Personal Protective Equipments), Good
house keeping, Emergency preparedness, Handling of chemicals, First aid, Fire fighting & Evacuation plan
   
  The Social Accountability policy is documented, implemented, maintained & communicated to all the
Directors / Executives / Supervisors / Suppliers / Vendors & Staff employed directly, contracted or
otherwise. The copy of the policy is posted at notice board near the gate for all the visitors / suppliers /
customers / workers etc. & this is also mentioned in Worker Hand Book
