Mr. Ashok Jain

Mr. Ashok Jain, President, is the backbone of Shingora. His administrative skills have kept the fabric of the organization strong.
Starting the wool business with his brothers in the late 60's, he worked his way up from the shop floor of a small family wool knitwear business to lead and inspire the Shingora family.
His extensive experience in the wool industry has been instrumental in nurturing brand Shingora and running the organization since inception.

Less than two decades ago, Mrs. Jain, decided
to start a new product line to add to her husband's knitwear business. Today she is not only the Managing Director of the company, but is considered among the top shawl professionals in the country.

Less than two decades ago, Mrs. Jain, decided to start a new product
line to add to her husband's knitwear business. Today she is not
only the Managing Director of the company, but is considered among
the top shawl professionals in the country.

As Shingora’s manufacturing and export business flourished, so did
Mrs. Jain’s reputation. She was honored with several prestigious
awards like the Mahila Udyog Ratna in 1993, the Woman Entrepreneur
of the Year Award in 1994, and recognized by the state government in 1995 as the Best Woman Entrepreneur.

Today, she is the vice-chairperson of the Shawl Club of India. She is
also a member of various committees and advisory boards (both governmental and non-governmental) responsible for upgrading
the sector.

Mrs. Jain fought the odds to become a successful business woman.
Yet she remains grounded in her faith, trusts her instincts and follows
the not so smooth path of success with a humble heart and a

Mr. Amit Jain
President
 
 
Mr. Amit Jain is the eldest son in the family and is the driving force behind the exponential growth and expansion of the company.
Other than being the President, he also leads research and development wing of the company. Through foresight and expertise mastered during his textile education and his love for traveling, he introduced the latest design systems and machines during the mid nineties.

Mr. Amit Jain is the eldest son in the family and is the driving force

Other than being the President, he also leads research and development wing of the company. Through foresight and expertise mastered during his textile education and his love for traveling, he introduced the latest design systems and machines during the mid nineties.

He pioneered the transition of the family business from a handloom-based manufacturer of shawls to a company that possessed shuttle-
less looms and electronic jacquards. Thus making Shingora one of
the handful of companies in India to posses such capabilities at
the time.

His keen insight into the market and product gave the company an
edge against competition in the textile market segment and helped
shifting the marketing focus to exports.
 
 
 
 
Mr. Anuj Jain
CEO
 
 
Mr. Anuj Jain, the younger sibling in the family, joined the business in 2001. He heads the commercial and financial operations, and is the Chief Executive Officer of the company.
His drive for science and economics has resulted in the introduction of world-class management information systems to Shingora.
Compliance activities are also his forte and he
has ensured that the company is SA 8000 and Oeko-Tex Compliant.
